You're looking for something called 'forward/rewind by division value' which you can find in the key commands menu (option+k). On my computy I hold down the shift key and then < or >. Maybe different for you. Are you familiar with setting the division value? it's the number below the time signature in the transport window. I'm looking at mine right now and it says '/8' which means the playhead moves in eighth note increments, but you can set it to whatever you want.

I have a myriad of issues with it, as does everyone else, but right now I am trying to figure out how to lock an audio clip at the playhead, as one essentially needs to be able to do for even pretty simple home movie edits.
